ISME is happy to announce that the first Keynote Speakers have confirmed their participation. Jill Banfield, University of California, Berkeley, USA, will give the first Keynote Lecture of the symposium. She will be joined on the other days by fellow Keynote Speakers Simonetta Gribaldo, Institut Pasteur, France, and Osvaldo Ulloa, Universidad de Concepción, Chile. Ed DeLong, University of Hawai'i, Manoa, USA, will be giving a Bird's Eye View Presentation.
