In keeping with ISME tradition, no scientific sessions will be scheduled on Wednesday 21 August 2024. Participants will be free to explore the city of Cape Town and its surroundings.
We have partnered up with Turners Conferences, to provide you with an opportunity to see the city or to do something fun. Several exciting tours have been selected for you and your peers, which you may book via their website. Learn more about Cape Town, sip some wine whilst soaking in the beautiful scenery, enjoy the views from Table Mountain, or explore Cape Point. You can also book your tours on site. A tour desk will be open during the first days of the conference.
There are also multiple day pre- or post tours available if you wish to explore South Africa before or after the conference.
